Description

In powder coating production, metallic pigments (e.g., aluminum powder, copper powder) often need bonding with resins, additives, etc., to enhance performance—such as improving pigment dispersibility, stability, and coating decorativeness. A bonding mixer works by partially melting low-melting resins under controlled temperature and stirring, firmly adhering metallic pigments to other powder particles. Its process: raw materials are added proportionally to the mixer; heating raises temperature while high-speed stirring paddles intensely stir, shear, and tumble materials for full contact and bonding. After meeting specifications, the mixture cools and discharges as bonded powder coating.
